back to the days when everything was simple.
Back when fights were over crayons.
Back when a social status was decided by your spot in the line.
Back when two girls or two boys could hold ahnds and it was just cute.
Back when I love you was just a way to say you cared,
and nothing was expected because of it.
Back to happy meal toys and cartoons on Saturdays.
Back when Mommy and Daddy could heal any pain.
Back to the days when the only calls we made were to Barbie on the play phone.
Back when you could know someone for a day and you could easily become best friends.
Back when people were truly honest,
and no one cared what everyone else thought.
Lets go back,
Back to the days when everything was straightforward.
There was no underlying meaning.
There was no sarcasm.
The biggest arguement was over the crayons again.
Mommy and Daddy could save you from a horrible day at school.
Goodbywe was just a way to say see you tomorrow.
Simple pleasures made your day.
